Now that the snow has almost completely melted, it is a good time to remind unit owners about your Exclusive Use Areas (EUA). Our Bylaws state that any area outside of your units is Corporation property, and that the fenced areas behind your units are part of that.
Your rear Exclusive Use Area, or backyard, is for your exclusive use and enjoyment, but is the responsibility of the unit owner to maintain the area to the satisfaction of the Bylaws and Board policies. This includes trees, shrubs, sheds, grass, decks, and any other structure or setup that you may currently have.
Should you want to change or alter your backyard, you must first inform the Board of your intentions and receive permission to make those alterations. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to change your alteration at your own expense.
